CAfE is launching an Energy Design Advisory Service which aims to raise the implementation rate of energy efficient design and hardware in new construction activities in Christchurch city. CAfE will offer grants to eligible building developers to have their preliminary plans assessed by suitably qualified professionals to optimise energy efficient design features in the development. Expressions of interest documentation is attached here as a pdf.
This will also include considering options to increase the use of renewable energy and to assess opportunities to connect to Christchurch’s district energy scheme for which a feasibility study has just been completed.
Suitably qualified individuals are invited to express their interest to become approved providers of these advisory services.
Responses are to be received by 4pm, 24 February 2012.
