CAfE Energy Debate on CTV

Mon, 02/07/2012 - 4:50pm -- sam

Watch the Press Great Sustainable Energy Debate (09/05/12); a very serious night of hilarity which has screened on CTV.

Gary McCormick and Joe Bennett led teams debating your future and whether cheaper energy is better than renewable energy for Christchurch. Gary McCormick radio presenter and commentator, comic, poet, television presenter and corporate speaker cares about the present and the future.  Gary is a previous New Zealand ‘Entertainer of the Year’ and hosts the MORE FM Christchurch breakfast show with Simon Barnett.

The Press’ own Joe Bennett: a writer and columnist who lives in Lyttelton, still.  Joe cares about a lot of things and doesn’t care about others.  His columns are syndicated throughout New Zealand and have been internationally published along with four of his travel books.  In 2011 Joe was voted Columnist of the Year at the Canon Media Awards for the fifth time,

Other speakers included former Energy Minister Hon David Caygill.

The debate was a key part of the April May EA12 activities.
