The Top 20 users of energy in Christchurch are a good starting point for affecting our city's overall energy consumption patterns.
Profiles of the Top 20 businesses' energy use will enable developing plans that move towards a greater use of sustainable energies, energy solutions, and savings.
Larger organisations, particularly those involved in education, manufacturing, health and government are already well aware of the issues and have plans or programmes for energy saving, but CAfE intends to work with them individually and collectively to shape Christchurch's rebuild and future development.
Discussions with top twenty companies and organisations will progress during 2012/13.
